Ingredients
Sriracha Honey Ginger Sauce
¼ cup canola oil (50 g) ¼ cup Sriracha sauce (gluten-free) (67 g) ¼ cup soya sauce (gluten-free) (60 g) ¼ cup honey (80 g) 1 tbsp fresh ginger - grated (15 g) 2 cloves minced garlic (7 g)

Chicken
½ chicken - bone in (908 g) 1 tsp paprika (1g) 1 tsp garlic powder (2g) ½ tsp salt (2g) 1 tsp black pepper (2g)

Directions
Sriracha Honey Ginger Sauce
- In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
Chicken
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
- Toss seasoned chicken in ½ cup of Sriracha Honey Ginger Sauce. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Place marinated chicken on a foil lined baking tray. Cover with foil.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush chicken with ½ of the remaining sauce. Cover chicken with foil again.
- Return to preheated oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes (covered).
- Remove from oven and brush with remaining sauce.
- Bake uncovered in preheated oven for an additional 10 minutes or an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Tips & Variations
- Cook chicken to an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Saucing throughout the cooking process allows for better coating of the chicken and less chance of the glaze burning.
- For less spicy version, reduce Sriracha sauce to 2 tablespoons.
