Ingredients
1 wedge of watermelon - thinly sliced/cut into maple leaves (286 g)
Optional: coloured straws or popsicle sticks

Directions
- Cut 1 wedge of watermelon (approx. 1/16 of a watermelon). Cut out 6 - 8 shapes, using a pairing knife or your favourite cookie cutter.
- Remaining watermelon left around shapes, cut into cubes (can be used in your favourite fruit salad).
- Insert optional straw or popsicle stick through stem of maple leaf shape.
- Display in tall vases or glasses for easy to grab treats.
Yields 6 - 8 portions
Tips & Variations
- For a red and white version, dip watermelon cut outs in coconut milk and coat in shredded coconut.
