Ingredients
Blueberry Compote
4 cups frozen blueberries (600 g) ½ cup granulated sugar (125 g) 1 tsp vanilla extract (5 g)

Waffles
½ package Kinnikinnick Blueberry Waffles - 3 waffles (111 g) Optional: serve with butter, icing sugar and or syrup

Directions
Blueberry Compote
- In a medium pot, combine blueberries, granulated sugar and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve warm or cold.
Assembly
- Toast Kinnikinnick Blueberry Waffles.
- Butter and top with Blueberry Compote.
- Dust with icing sugar or drizzle with syrup. Best served warm.
Yields 1 portion
Tips & Variations
- If using fresh blueberries add ½ cup water to formula.
- Blueberry Compote can be stored in an air-tight container for up to 1 week in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer.
