Ingredients
Caramel Sauce
½ cup evaporated milk (124g)
1¾ cup brown sugar (288g)
½ cup butter (135g)

Donuts
1 package Kinnikinnick Maple Dipped Donuts - thawed (320 g)
6 pieces bacon - cooked (gluten-free) (150 g)
Optional: course salt for finishing

Directions
Caramel Sauce
- In a medium saucepan combine evaporated milk, brown sugar and butter. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes, stir constantly (this will reduce crystallization in the fridge).
- Cool mixture slightly before dipping donuts.
- Remaining Caramel Sauce can be stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Assembly
- Cut bacon in half and set 6 half pieces aside. Chop remaining bacon into pieces. Set aside.
- Dip tops of Kinnikinnick Maple Dipped Donuts into Caramel Sauce. Let excess drip off.
- Place a half piece of bacon in middle of each donut. Sprinkle tops with chopped bacon pieces.
- Sprinkle with optional course salt.
- Place on serving tray and allow to set (approx. 15 minutes).
